You Win, I Win, Everybody's Happy (=

This one's for all the hardcore football fans out there:

Middlesbrough 0 - 5 Chelsea

Despite missing several key players due to injury, the Blues totally outclassed their hosts and brought them down to their knees in this thrashing. Salomon Kalou started the spree with a 14th minute goal then the pieces just fell into place as Chelsea eased their way to victory. Juliano Belletti contributed with a whoppin' 35-yard screamer straight into the top right corner of the net while Kalou netted his second before Frank Lampard headed in the fourth goal from a beautiful passing teamplay and assist. Florent Malouda rounded it off, tapping in the rebound from Anelka's shot off the keeper.

Erm.. All I have to say is: either Chelsea played damn well, or Middlesbrough just had a very bad day. Best is of course both lah! Hehe. XD I guess Chelsea's midfield was too much for Boro as they seriously just got owned by them. Setting up was pretty darn easy for Chelsea and.. Needless to say the strikers did their job and voila! Chelsea won. =D

Manchester United 4 - 0 West Brom

The Red Devils took it slow in the first half after Wayne Rooney's goal was disallowed for pushing the West Brom defender. Hence, they took it to another level and a second half later, 4 goals from Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dimitar Berbatov & Nani sealed the deal and showed West Brom what Manchester United was made of.

1 word: Rooney's back on form

Just that alone scares the living shit out of everyone and anyone from every and any club. After his first goal was disallowed, Rooney went all out and came back with 1 goal and 2 assists. Rooney is @#%^!&* Hopefully, this doesn't go on and that he loses steam soon. If not... *gulps* Manchester United is back for another killing.

Liverpool 3 - 2 Wigan

Wigan took the lead with Egyptian striker Amr Zaki 2 goals - the second, a beautiful and amazing bicycle kick that almost sealed the game if not for Dirk Kuyt's goal that kept Liverpool in the match. After that, Albert Riera and Dirk Kuyt AGAIN contributed to Liverpool's fortunate win at their home ground, Anfield.

Well, surprise surprise! Liverpool almost got beat AT HOME if not for Dirk Kuyt's goal that kept the game alive, just enough for Liverpool to come back and win this match against Wigan. Who would've expected Dirk Kuyt to be of such an asset in this game, let alone score 2 goals in match?? This Dutch has certainly stepped up to the plate and hopefully he'll be able to continue on performing well with the Liverpool fans behind him and that this wasn't just a fluke where he just had a lucky day. Hehe.

Arsenal 3 - 1 Everton

The Gunners came from behind to beat Everton in the second half through Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie before England winger Theo Walcott topped it off with a third in stoppage time.

Honestly speaking, Arsenal played a pretty bad game after putting up such a show through their young players in the previous games. Especially with most of the starting line-ups in play - Fabregas, Adebayor, Eboue, Denilson, Van Persie etc. Adebayor was practically useless in the match, running up and down the field doing nuts. The man of the match would have to be Nasri who scored the virtual equaliser that tipped the tables towards the Gunners. However, hats off to Walcott who continued his rising stardom by finishing the game with a third goal in style.
