Federer Fed-Exed
Who would've believe that Roger Federer, the all-time prince of tennis has been kicked out of the Australia Open. Losing 3 straight sets 7-5, 6-3, 7-6 to none other than Novak Djokovic.
The World No. 1 has been humbled by the third-seeded, 20-year-old, and now has time to sit back, reflect and just ponder upon "What the hell happened to me??!!" as the winner of this round cruises on in search of his first Grand Slam.
All I have to say from this is: "Wakakakakakakaka... You got served Federer! XD" The world's favourite finally got owned, how long have I been waiting for this. Well, no offenses to all those Federer fans out there, but I've always have this policy of rooting for the underdog therefore... Go Djokovic!! Hahaha.
On a happier note, the young Russian beauty - Maria Sharapova earned her third Grand Slam with a 7-5, 6-3 defeat of Serbia's Ana Ivanovic. Good to know that at least one of the world's No. 1 is still on top. This is one female who has everything: brains, beauty & brawns. No wonder, she still stands proud having defended her title yet again. In short, Maria Sharapova dominates the whole woman's tennis.

1 month.
Due to the lack of my posts this month.. I decided to update TWICE in one day! Muahahaha.. Must think I have lotsa things to talk about hor? Actually.. It's just a special occasion that I remembered.. Hmm.. Not very true actually, more like noticed. Hehe.
Today is the 25th of January, what could be so special about today you may ask.. Is it someone's birthday? A day of accomplishment? Something eventful? What would cause a certain celebration that I would even blog about it.
Well, for those sharp minds and quick eyes, you may have already guessed it. Yes, today is our 1 month anniversary ever since we went official on christmas night. Yes you got it, 25th Dec - 25th Jan. Exactly 1 month. [=
Ahh... 30 glorious days with her. Loving my baby every moment, every minute, every hour and every day. Although the South China Sea splits us apart, I'm sure our love and relationship will hold on through. I've never regretted loving you my dear, every moment and everyday seems like a blessing with you in my life. Haiz.. All these mushy talk makes me miss you even more. How I wish I was with you right now to celebrate today. Hehe. Soo.. All that I can do now my dear, is dedicate this post to you.

OMG, I updated!
Wow... Never expected that I'll still be doing this in Singapore. Thought that the crappiest wireless in my boarding school can never be stable enough for me to do this.. But, I guess I was wrong. =D
So, hello to my loyal & faithful readers! (yes i know that the 2 words mean the same thing =P) How are you all in 2008? Well, it's been a freeeaaaakin' long time since i last blogged so.. Don't really know where to start, so I'll just give you all a brief summary of what I've been up to.
Well, new years.. Hmm.. seems like a pretty long time ago. Celebrated it with the most awesomest thing I've ever done. Bungee jumping @ clarke quay singapore!!! Woot!! I'll let the pictures do the talking for now.
Before the take off.. That's my cousin Thomas btw
After the jump. Thank God we didn't die...
Cousin Tom, Sister Sarah & Mua.Oldest of our grandparents' grandchildren aka First Tier / 3 Musketeers
And that was for the bungee jumping.. And a superb way of starting the new year. So after that, was back to school. *yawns* Boring school days passed by, and life in boarding school is ever so boring.
Because of that, I tried to make my life interesting by being super kepo-ish and enthusiastic by joining this and joining that, filling up my time with whatever crap I could find.
First off was this scholar's competition called World Scholars' Cup. Competitors were supposed to study and memorize 6 booklets on different subjects - Arts, Literature I & II, Econs, Astronomy & History. Then we'll be tested on them at a national level and if we make it through, internationals will be held in South Korea. Ooo... Haha. However, this happened to be one of the first few mistakes I've made in '08 because the books are bloody hard... Harder than the textbooks I'm studying now. Ngaiti.. And the thing is, I've already signed up for this so it's Do or Die. No backing out. =\ Help, someone please?
Then... I had this superficial thought that I was the greatest singer on earth, so what do egoistic _____________ Idol wannabes like me do?? We join choir!! Hahahaha.. Yeaps you heard me. I JOINED CHOIR. And oh boy, it was tough. The conductor will literally make you sing your heart out just to get one note correct. 1st day of practice was torture.. Hopefully I can tahan because it's my only CCA / ECA / after school activity thingy for now..
Andden.. My hostel held a boarding school idol kinda thing called "Boarding Superstar" so.. As I said, ________ Idol wannabe me kepo kepo join loh. And boy, was it the most memorable event for me. Hahaha.
1. Went down late for the auditions, hadta wait in line for like.. 20 other candidates in front of me to finish first.
2. Fell asleep while waiting.. Was suppose to be practising while waiting like all the other people were doing.
3. Ate fried food in school although I very well know that I was developing a sore throat. So bye bye to my sexy, heart-melting voice. XD
So.. With all this added up together. Guess you can predict what happened... YES!!! I got in to the 2nd round!! Woot!! Muahahahaha.... I wish.
Ended up getting rejected because of the reason "You have a nice tone.. But it just can't capture the audience's attention because it lacks character... yadiyadiyada.." Err.. Like duh right? Was half awake while singing the song so what do you expect.. Can't even capture my own attention how to attract other people's? Lol.
And.. This is all I have to say for now. Can say my blog's pretty updated now eh? Hahaha.. Also, if the connection continues to be this ok... Don't ask too much but just keep your hopes up that more updates are to come. Farewell for now but remember this.. www.babiahmoi.blogspot.com lives on!!! =D

Xmas Parade
Today @ 6:30 pm @ jubilee ground.. My church - Trinity Methodist Church and many other churches went for a walk around town. We call it a parade but yeah it's mostly just walking around town holding candles and carolling. Soo.. lotsa churches participated, and the estimated number was around.. 3000 people. Yeapz, THREE THOUSAND. That's quite a large number.
So, walk started by normal singing and candle lighting.. Constant christmas wishes and greetings were said along the way. And also.. how do you suppose that 3000 people just waltz their way around town? Believe it or not, the police were in such a xmassy mood that they helped us with some personal roadblocks!! Wow.. First time in kuching history that such a big thing was held by churches and aided by the police summore. Not bad ey? Hahaha..
Throughout the walk.. Several self-made "floats" were found bobbing up and down among the sea of people. Some were extravagantly made while others looked like last minute work that we Malaysians are so famously known for. Lol. Paiseh ahh.. And I know you people must be tired of all these words.. So here are a couple of picturs of the floats.. And the floats only. =\
A nice all-white float done by.. err.. some church. Lol.
A quaint little hut with christmas trees and all the decorations
FMC's creation of Santa's sleighLast but not least...
TMC's duplication of Jesus' birthplace - the manger!Well, the parade was a hot and sweaty one. But had alot of fun bringing Marvin along with me and running up and down like idiots. Bet you can imagine that in your mind. And sadly, we were too busy finding familiar faces and taking pics of the floats that it never popped into our mind to take any pictures of the NUMEROUS PEOPLE and candles or even a decent pic of us. Haiz... Owelz..
In the end, caught up with eunice, franklin and alyssa and went for supper. And.. that was that. Quite a day well spent I might say. If any of you were out @ town, you would 've caught a glimpse of this once in a lifetime christian thing going on. Oh and btw, my church's float got 2nd place!!! Not bad for last minute work ey? Hahahaha.. Too bad FMC, better luck nextime. XD

Christmas Cookies
This past few days, I've been busily helping my mom out with some baking. Or maybe I should say ALOT of baking. All for our church's xmas dinner.. some sorta gift or something.. dunno lah.. Soo, been getting my hands down and dirty by making cookies for xmas. And.. here's a few lessons on how to do it correctly. [=
Step 1: Wrap the baked cookie in a zippo plastic bag so it won't "lau hong"
Step 2: Get the sticker

Tada! You've just successfully finished wrapping + sticking a cookie! And for those who don't like chritmas trees.. Here are also:Yea yea yea.. You people might say it doesn't seem much and that it's not such a tough job at all. Well.. Try saying repeating those 3 steps for like.. err.. let's say.. 300-400 times?? Yes, you heard me alright. THREE TO FOUR HUNDRED TIMES. And when you're done doing that, you would most probably be like me and end up hating cookies for the next few days. In the end, you'll get this:
